20 OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WEDDING CAKES!

Wedding cakes are just simply dreamy, elegant and so beautiful to look at.

Here are 20 stunning cakes that will make you swoon.

This whimsical cake design, created by Rosalind Miller Cakes, features two tiers covered in edible gold leaf, as well as tiny sugar wildflowers that look as if they were handpicked and fashioned into romantic flower crowns.

Price upon request, Rosalind Miller Cakes

The abstract, ethereal watercolor stains of this confection, created by kneadtomake, were inspired by the bride's watercolor-printed J.Crew heels. The dreamy hues were dry-brushed onto the fondant-covered tiers using powdered food coloring.

$10 per slice, kneadtomake

Jennfyer Mancino of The Sugar Suite created these modern, two-dimensional flowers by fashioning them from fondant and piping the petal details with pewter icing so they resembled a hand-drawn sketch. The cake tiers were decorated with thin fondant ribbons applied to resemble the ruching on the bride's wedding dress.

$7 per slice, The Sugar Suite

This simple, ethereal confection from Earth & Sugar features verses from a French poem hand-calligraphed in antique gold and topped with a vintage crown.

$14 per slice, Earth & Sugar

If you love all things sparkly and gold, you'll love this gilded cake by Amber McKenney of Sweet on Cake, who applied gold disco dust (an edible glitter made for cake decorating) to the fondant-covered tiers, giving it a painterly brushstroke effect.

$12 per slice, Sweet on Cake

When Jennifer Prinz of City View Bakehouse was sketching ideas for her next cake, what came to mind was an image of a glamorous wedding gown with tiers of ruffles on the skirt. She transformed the sketch into reality: sugar poppies in shades of peach, gold, and ivory, subtle ruching, and layers of edible sugar ruffles cascading down the bottom tiers.

Carla Reich of Honey Crumb Cake Studio translated a textile pattern of vines and leaves into this elegant wedding cake by hand-piping royal icing onto the mint-colored tiers and then painting the details with shimmery gold luster dust.

$10.75 per slice, Honey Crumb Cake Studio

Inspired by the beauty of ballet, self-taught pastry artist Jenna Illchuk of Jenna Rae Cakes created this graceful cake that's absolutely perfect for a winter wedding. The fondant frills capture the femininity of a ballerina's tutu, while the tiers of edible silver sequins are a nod to their gorgeous beaded costumes.

$12 per slice, Jenna Rae Cakes

The hand-painted floral pattern and gumpaste blossoms on this taupe-and-gold confection from Sky's the Limit Cakes were inspired by 19th century china patterns.

$10 per slice, Sky's the Limit Cakes

To complement the bride's earthy-yet-sophisticated wedding aesthetic, Sonja McLean of Sweet and Swanky Cakes made this rustic-looking cake, which took more than 80 hours to create. Chocolate ganache was applied to the tiers to achieve a wood grain effect, while the ruffles added a romantic touch. The entire cake was covered in peonies, ripe blackberries, twigs, and hypericum berries, all sculpted from fondant and sugar.

Wowed by a swatch of lace fabric from the 1970s, Zoe Clark of Zoe Clark Cakes replicated the intricate pattern by meticulously hand-piping royal icing to the pale-pink tiers.

For a unique take on the fondant ruffles trend, Sherri Meyers of The Pastry Studio layered the sugar frills to create a "peeling" effect, which gives the design an aged, antique look. Inside, you'll find hazelnut-praline cake inside; the cake is finished with sugar flowers with ivory beaded centers.

This romantic, creamy ivory confection by cake artist Maggie Austin is perfect for Southern brides: The bottom tier is covered in her signature frills, while the top tiers are decorated with intricate bas-relief molding done in soft gold. Topping it off: a luscious sugar magnolia, flecked in gold.

Instead of Swiss dots or polka dots, cake designer Erin Gardner of Wild Orchid Baking Co. decorated the tiers with tiny fondant hearts, which gives the design a preppy-yet-whimsical feel. She finished off the design with gumpaste pink poppies and wafer-paper tulips.

$10 per slice, Wild Orchid Baking Co.

For an Anthropologie-inspired wedding, Karen Vasquez of Kakes by Karen created extra-tall tiers to add height and drama. Next, she decorated each tier with pink and yellow flowers using a technique called brush embroidery, where, using a paintbrush, she stroked through tinted royal icing, leaving behind brush strokes that resemble stitching in fabric.

$24 per slice, Kakes by Karen

Fluttering sugar feathers are the perfect cake motif for an outdoor wedding. Each one is hand-cut from fondant and is slightly different and unique; the confection from Megan Joy Cakes is topped with a trio of gumpaste magnolias that you'll swear are real.

$16 per slice, Megan Joy Cakes

For a romantic take on a monogrammed cake, pastry chef Melissa Samuels of Melissa's Fine Pastries gilded design features Art Nouveau-style lettering, sugared Alencon lace, hand-cut gelatin sequins, and gold dragees.

$16 per slice, Melissa's Fine Pastries

This pretty sugar flower-adorned confection from Amy Beck Cake Design features five tiers covered in a different pastel shade of fondant and trimmed with a golden scalloped fondant band for a regal touch.

$10 per slice, Amy Beck Cake Design

Drawing inspiration from the bride's wedding gown, Melody Brandon of Sweet & Saucy Shop created this all-white cake featuring scalloped fondant lace and a cluster of white sugar flowers that matched her bridal bouquet.

Nothing says romance like strawberries and champagne. Cake artist Nadia Colella of Nadia & Co. interpreted this delicious pairing into a cake design featuring a ruffled bottom tier, handmade sugar sequins forming a butterfly pattern, bubble sugar, tiny rose petals, and a topper made of handcrafted sugar strawberries.

$12 per slice, Nadia & Co.
